Our Calling

Aligned with the Biblical vision of healing and restoration (Isaiah 61:1–4), Handsworth SDA Health Ministries embraces a holistic approach—nurturing body, mind, and spirit. We believe good health empowers every believer to better serve God and community.


What We Offer


Public Health Education & Events

We host regular health seminars, online webinars, and community expositions—sharing science-based insights within a spiritual framework.


NEWSTART Lifestyle Program

This faith-centred wellness model is built on eight core principles:

Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest, Trust in God

Participants can also access the NEWSTART Online Program for in-depth guidance and CEU credit options.

Community Outreach & Partnerships

Through strong collaboration with the NEC and BUC Health Ministries, we provide community-based programs, VBS health teachings, and inclusive health initiatives for all ages and abilities.


Activities for All

Walking clubs, cooking classes, and family-focused workshops promote sustainable habits and build stronger relationships within our church and local community.
