Mission & Vision

Adventist Possibility Ministries at Handsworth SDA Church is dedicated to inspiring, equipping, and mobilising those impacted by disabilities, losses, or caregiving responsibilities. Our mission resonates with the broader vision of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, emphasising service and community participation for everyone, regardless of challenges they face.

Called to Service: We believe that every individual is uniquely valuable in the eyes of God. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God has a specific plan for each of us, transcending any disabilities or perceived limitations. By focusing on God’s presence at the centre of our lives, we transform our perspective from seeing impossibilities to embracing possibilities.

Embracing and Supporting: The Possibilities Department at Handsworth SDA Church strives to embrace and uplift individuals facing various challenges—whether they are Deaf, blind, physically, emotionally, or mentally challenged, as well as orphans, vulnerable children, and the widowed. Our goal is to cultivate a deeper relationship with God among all community members.
