Our Mission
The mission of the Handsworth SDA Women’s Ministry is to build a vibrant and inclusive community that welcomes women of all ages and backgrounds. Together, we seek to deepen our relationship with God and support one another in our faith journeys. Our collective efforts focus on meaningful in-reach and outreach initiatives that embody love, compassion, and positive change, not only within our church but also extending to the wider Handsworth community and beyond.
Core Objectives
1. Spiritual Growth: Organise regular Bible studies, prayer groups, and spiritual retreats that cater to the diverse needs of our congregation’s women, helping each one grow in faith and personal devotion.
2. Fostering Sisterhood: Create safe, welcoming spaces where women can share their experiences, challenges, and victories, thereby strengthening the bonds of sisterhood and mutual support.
3. Community Impact: Engage in local and broader community service projects that demonstrate our commitment to practical Christianity and love in action. These projects include outreach to local shelters, community clean-up initiatives, and supporting international missions.
4. Personal and Collective Empowerment: Through workshops, seminars, and mentoring programs, equip women with the skills and confidence to lead in both church and community settings.
